WINES OF EXCELLENCE WITH A GUARANTEED CERTIFIED QUALITY
As the Consorzio represents more than the 80% of the producers using “Valpolicella” appellation, it promotes activities to enhance the value of the whole territory: the wine and its area of origin, Valpolicella history, traditions and the typical features that make its landscape unique in the world.
The Consorzio has very important institutional tasks: it takes care of promotion, value enhancement, and information spread for Valpolicella wines and territory and it is responsible for the tutelage of Valpolicella brand and viticulture in the wine production area. It is in charge of the surveillance, safeguard and protection of the appellation.

WINES OF EXCELLENCE WITH A GUARANTEED CERTIFIED QUALITY
Excellence in the vineyard is the aim of the Consortium for the Tutelage of Valpolicella Wines and it goes through environmental sustainability and wealth of the territory.
This is the orientation of the National Quality System of Integrated Production (SQNPI) certification, which promotes not only environmental protection by companies through the adoption of innovative techniques in the vineyard, but also social sustainability and landscape protection.

Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella: three indigenous grapes varieties that have made the history and the success of Valpolicella wines.
A great part of Valpolicella success is linked to its history of production, strongly connected to its indigenous grape varieties, like Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and other local varieties, which give a unique mark to the wine styles: Valpolicella, Valpolicella Ripasso, Amarone della Valpolicella and Recioto della Valpolicella.

An unwavering commitment to ensure high quality products for consumers around the world and protect the work of our members.
In accordance with the Law No. 238 of 12 December 2016, among its purposes the Consortium has to cooperate, according to the directives given by the Ministry, to protect and safeguard of PDOs from violation, unfair competition, counterfeiting, improper use of protected denominations and any acts prohibited by law.
