Sergio Castellani, with his wife Maria, continues the wine business directing the family business in all the phases that characterize the making of the wine, accompanied by his children Michele, in the cellar, Martina, for the administrative sector, and Mara, for the commercial and foreign relations sector. National and international success confirm the validity of the company project.  Our wines: a guarantee of taste and quality  We aim for excellence. This is why we pay great attention to the selection and harvesting of the grapes, to the vinification, to the drying, to the aging of the great wines of Valpolicella. We dedicate great passion and professionalism to the drying phase of the grapes for the production of Amarone and Recioto: ample space and modern facilities in view of maintaining the healthiness of the grapes and controlling their balanced and regular over-ripening.  What we do: products with maximum organoleptic potential. We follow the winemaking process of grapes, fresh and dried, and the evolution of wine through the use of modern technologies integrated with the more classic ones: a perfect combination of tradition and innovation, scenographically represented by the presence of large barrels side by side of oak and barrique. This is why we produce unmistakable wines: an evident territorial setting, with an illuminating modern interpretation. The authentic protagonists therefore remain them, our wines, characterized by stylistic cleanliness and strong personality, faithful witness to a company philosophy that enhances the exuberant beauty of the territory and the full sensory satisfaction of our consumers. We have been renewing our passion for wine every day since 1945.
Respecting the dream of those who, over sixty years ago, with effort and enthusiasm laid the foundations of what is now the excellent Michele Castellani winery means continuing to daily renew the passion in their work and constant product and process innovation.

The small "laboratory".
The small "laboratory" born in Valgatara in 1945 thanks to the work of Michele the founder, has in fact transformed, thanks to the important investments in the vineyard and equipment of his farsighted successors, into a modern functional cellar of about 40 hectares of vineyards, between ownership and direct management.
