History

A romantic holiday in Verona was the occasion in which Iurii, a far-sighted Russian entrepreneur, has encountered Amarone and was struck by it. A love at first sight that radically changed his life and resulted in a property of 20 ha above Trezzolano, in the hills east of Verona. Here the beautiful micro-climate of the 500 m altitude leaves the clounds below to ensure the vineyards are bathed in sun and the coolness, so favorable for the wine where the fruit and the Veronese personality emerge. This is where the history of Ca’Botta began, full of the perfect balance of innovation and tradition.
