Valpolicella Superiore – A Territory Opportunity

As mentioned during the Valpolicella Annual Conference last February, the Consorzio Vini Valpolicella has decided to undertake this year and for the years to come, a new path to enhance the Valpolicella DOC Superiore.

‘Valpolicella Superiore – A Territory Opportunity’ is the new digital event scheduled on Thursday 24 June 2021 from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm (Italian time) and which will see participants connected from all over the world, together with Valpolicella producers.

As it was last February, this event will be broadcast in live streaming on Zoom and on the main social media channels of the Consortium (Facebook and Instagram).

There will be wo sessions with moments of dialogue and tasting. In the first part of there will be the presentation of the first Valpolicella Annual Report. A document containing historical and detailed production, climate and market trends. Furthermore, the results of the survey dedicated to Valpolicella DOC Superiore, conducted by the Consorzio Vini Valpolicella to all the Valpolicella producers will be unveiled. In the second part, there will be a dialogue on Valpolicella DOC Superiore, analyzing the characteristics of the territory, the stylistic, organoleptic and market profiles, trying to figure out the future prospectives.
