The Consortium is able to offer consumers the highest guarantee of product “origin” and quality by means of a “tracking” system which forms a natural extension to the procedures of inspection and monitoring from the vineyard to the bottle already performed by the Consortium through the "Erga-Omnes" monitoring plan.

The paper seal in question, supplied directly from the Istituto Poligrafico Zecca dello Stato, will be placed on the neck of the bottle and will bear a distinctive identifying alphanumeric initial, the name of the Wine, the nominal volume of the bottle and the emblem of the State.

This service can be accessed by inserting the code, which is found on the label, into the appropriate fields to verify the derivation of and the information regarding the product.
