A true jewel immerged in the vineyards, in the middle of a natural amphitheater, with 50 hectares of vineyards, the winery Antiche Terre Venete has arisen from the restoration of buildings dating back to the late ‘900. The main building contains a working environment of over 2,000 square meters, including the winemaking lines. The building is insulated to ensure full control of the essential environmental conditions, home to the state of the art installations and tecnology, in order to obtain a product of excellence, with maximum respect for safety and quality. Below the production plant there are 500 square meters with a barrel cellar for storing anf aging. The cellar contains 40 oak barrels of 50 hectoliters and 170 barriques of 225 liters of French and American fine-grained oak, open air seasoned for more than 30 months. Antiche Terre Venete is the result of an encounter, a friendship of two families, united by their passion for wine since the beginning of 1900s. A passion passed down from generation to generation, resulting in the joint project of Luciano Sancassani and Riccardo Degani. It is in Valpantena, in Sezano area very close to Verona, that the winery Antiche Terre Venete is located, embraced by the natural wide valley surrounded by terracing covered with vineyards. With a production of about 1.6 million bottles a year of Ripasso, Amarone e Valpolicella, Antiche Terre Venete has become an ambassador of the Veronese winemaking traditions and expertise.
